I am so happy prohibition is over. This is a holiday to celebrate a true victory of the American people, and of democracy.

Happy Repeal Day, Jeffrey!

You should be very proud. You've done a great job of promoting the second g-damn most important holiday next to the birth of baby Jesus.

Cheers.

I think you should toast the great state of Utah. Ironically, Utah's ratification of the 21st amendment was what abolished the 18th amendment.

Great question! I'm not politically-oriented enough to know the answer to that question, although I think it's a great one. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

Love the site, and Repeal Day. I plan to celebrate, but I think there needs to be a more formal, ceremonial way of doing so. Which senator should be toasted (and what beverage is most appropriate to toast him with)? Any tragically deceased people to honor by pouring out some of our drinks?
