Awesome El Vaquero Review

See more General

I check in on this blog from time to time, and I just noticed an older post from last month about El Vaquero. This woman is a biologist here in Eugene, and in her spare time she writes, eats, lives and breathes food. Anyway, she wrote an amazing write-up on her trip to Vaquero last month that I thought I’d share with everyone.

I wish I could write like that, to be able to capture the essence of a night so perfectly. Maybe one day I’ll actually learn how to write.

  • Michael, the recipes listed here are taken directly from the instruction manuals I write for my staff. We use Sauza Gold as our house tequila so that we don’t have to charge twelve bucks for a blended margarita.

And I agree! Feel free to sub your own favorite liquor in any of these recipes, folks… so grab a bottle of 100% blue agave tequila and enjoy!

By the way, Michael, thanks for the mention in your blog!

Jeff, you do yourself a disservice. Your writing is terrific, interesting, entertaining, and well-written. My only quibble would be your choice of tequilas for the two margarita recipes I’ve found. (Gotta be 100% agave, baby! 🙂
