The Other Side

Continuing on the photography bent that I’ve been on for the past year, my latest piece for The Daily Beast is now live. For those of you who missed the last one, I’ll just sum it up for you:

My pal Noah Rothbaum over at Half Full on the Daily Beast website noticed me messing around with cameras the last time we worked together and asked if I’d like to submit my first photo essay about the bars.

The first one was all about how I see bartending and why I love it so much. It wasn’t about cocktails, but so much more.

This one is about looking at people, places, and things inside of the restaurant from two directions. Hence, “The Other Side”. Because I think we all can relate to the sort of push/pull that this business has on us sometimes, and wanted to explore everything I saw in two opposing ways.

I hope you enjoy it.
