Contrary to popular opinion, I wasn’t the first person in the world to add tamarind paste to a margarita. However, I did name it, and perfect the recipe for the restaurant, so I’m including it here. I’m sure there are a lot of people who would love to get their hands on this recipe.

Nate – Always remember, garbage in, garbage out. Get yourself a nice reposado tequila for this one.
Jeff
Jeffery, thanks for the recipe, its one of our favorites. What tequila do you use? Thanks Nate
Being heavily influenced by Filipino friends, co-workers, girlfriend, etc, I’ve developed a real taste for tamarind, so as soon as I saw this, I knew it was going to be a hit around here, and it was. Thanks for such a simple idea and such a great name!
